I'm having a couple pairs of old school HED XC wheels painted in old Yeti team livery for an ARC-AS and a DH-6. Here are a few in process pictures from Spectrum. Evidently getting these things repainted is very challenging and so I may not be doing too many of these...

1990 Attitude Team fade
Sneak peak at a freshly painted 1990 Attitude with a Team paintjob. In the background you can see a pair of Adroits in various stages of completion as well as several HED wheels getting repainted for a couple replica team Yeti DH bikes.
1992 Klein Adroit paint prep
You can clearly see the application of boron fibers to the rear stays on this Adroit. A lot of work goes into hand sanding the rear of the frame to preserve the boron fibers.

1990 Fat Chance Wicked
I found this 90 Wicked in Salt Lake city early on when I started Second Spin and just haven't gotten around to doing anything with it. Since then I found another 90 Wicked with a box crown fork and decided to get the pair restored in Iced Teal Metallic. This one will be built with Suntour XC-PRO while the other one will get a full Campagnolo Euclid/Centaur grouppo.
Frame is off for some minor repairs and should be heading off to paint early next year, check back for more updates!!
Upon closer inspection the frame is in pretty decent shape, the only exception is some pretty nasty chainsuck.
89 Klein Pinnacle Elite
I found up this weathered and beaten down Pinnacle here in LA and bought it solely for the American Breezer stem it came with, but decided to keep it and see if I could turn it around. The frame is very faded, one of the water bottle mounts is spun in the frame and and had to be removed and the chainsuck will have to be smoothed out.
I managed to find a correct length Spinner fork and may be able to get a mission control to complete the package. Either way the frame is prime for restoration and will be repainted in pearl white with the 94 Adroit and 93 Attitude.
Frame went off to get the needed repairs and should be ready to get painted in a couple weeks. Stay tuned for updates.

1990 Yo Eddy Final Photo Shoot
While I still have a few things to sort out on the bike the weather was perfect to take some photos of the Grello Yo. These high octane neon / flourescent bikes do not photograph well in bright daylight, so this weekend's rainy and overcast weather was just perfect. I really enjoyed shooting the ARC in the art district of downtown Los Angeles and decided to head back there to photograph the Yo. Enjoy the photos.
This is how I got the bike
The bike was in pretty rough shape with a terrible fading, ugly sticker marks and a fair amount of road rash. It spent several years in Boston used by a bike messenger, so it was in somewhat neglected condition.
Here is how it ended up!

Meet the final graduating class of 2012
The last batch of 2012 bikes are geting ready to go to Spectrum for a fresh coat of paint. This batch will come back in Moonrise linear fade.
The first is a 1992/93 Adroit which started life as Gator linear fade and was later repainted by Klein in Deep Forest Green (corrected, thanks to CB). I was going to do a Tinker Juarez race bike replica with this frame but the buyer I was going to build it for decided on a different bike so it's going to be Moonrise instead.
Neat little signature inside the headtube, haven't seen that before.
You can still see the remains of the original gator fade paint job
Next up is a 1994 Attitude. I was originally going to have this bike painted in pearl while with the next batch, but thought it might be more unique in moonrise. You don't see too many MC2s in moonrise, not that there are many moonies to begin with.
The frame had some pretty nasty chainsuck which required attention
Corrosion underneath the paint is pretty common on MC2s, this will get addressed during paint
More corrosion at the cable exit on the top tube
All new water bottle mount rivnuts installed
The last of the batch is a 93 Attitude complete with a rigid fork and MC1. This bike is in good shape overall, but the paint is far gone with lots of scratches, fade and chips.
