1996 Yo Eddy build update #2

The Yo build is basically complete. Still need the head tube trimmed, inner spoke nipples replaced with silver ones, hubs to get polished, stem decals and a general tuneup. Otherwise the bike is ready to roll.

Few pics from the build today:

Two ARCs are great, but four are even better!!

Beautiful pics from Spectrum of the in process paint work on the two remaining Yeti ARCs

The 1994 19" Yellow / Turquoise is already spoken for, but the 1993 17.5" Gray / Turquoise is still available. I have a phenomenal parts kit all ready for it including NOS Manitou 2, Chris King headset in either 3DV or black, a battery of 3DV and black Ringle and Grafton parts and M735 or M900 XTR as far as the eye can see.

1996 Fat Chance Yo Eddy build update

Quick update on the build progress on the 96 Yo. Drivetrain, brakes basically done, still have to get the
Ringle Ti-Stox wheels finished (temporary M900s on for now), Ringle post should be here this week. The Topline cranks took forever to polish, sadly the nice and shiny ones were compact drive which wouldn't provide the desired gearing. Otherwise the build is progressing rather smoothly.

1995 Yeti ARC build complete

This is a rags to riches story if I ever heard one... Transformed from a boring black, cracked frame to a gleaming team replica, this bike is a real survivor! This project has been in the works since October with a parts search that rivaled Ponce de Leon's search for the fountain of youth. It took two sets of turqoise Ringle wheels, four turquoise Ringle seatposts, three Ringle stems, three pairs of Topline cranks, two hyperlite bars, two Rock Shock Judys, plus several sets of M900 XTR. Brakes are Critical Racing, White Industries Ti bottom bracket, Ti Ringle Twist QRs, IRC Piranha tires, Flite Ti seat and Ti spindle Shimano PD M737 pedals. The headtube repair was done by none other that FTW, Risse provided a custom Judy cartridge with White Brothers springs, Chris King contributed the last ever 1 1/4 turquoise headset and Spectrum powderworks adorned it in its beautiful team Yeti livery. I think most will agree that this bike is pretty damn awesome! On to the pics!!!!

1996 Yo Eddy Chameleon Metallica

The 96 Yo is back from Spectrum and another job well done!! The color is spectacular, the transitions flawless - a real head turner!!

The metallic green is achieved by layering yellow and shamrock (or something like that) green over top with some metallic flakes mixed in. The green really pops and I think silver stem, post, headset and bars will really set it off!!

I plan to get started on the build this weekend.
