Delivering fully restored, turnkey vintage mountain bikes
The seals on my Bullseye cranks were shot so I finally got around to making some new ones and installing them into the bearings.
What did you use to make the seals from?
Teflon impregnated polyester. You can buy it at McMasterr Carr. I don't remember how thick it was, I bought a couple different sheets until I found one I liked.
Great, thank you.
I found the material and thickness, but how did you get such a perfect cut on the material?
I have a die I use to cut them. It works great when sharp, but it's hard to keep sharp.
